The future - Publishing to HTML 5 - Using Adobe Captivate 6


It is not easy to keep all of the people happy all of the time is it. 


One of the things that I'm asked over and over again is why can't you use HTML5 to create your online Help and tutorials. The simple answer is 'Soon!' 


Adobe are working on a new release of one of my favourite tools Adobe Captivate - and one of the exciting new features is that it will allow authors to publishing to HTML 5. HTML5 is quickly becoming a the new standard in web development. It allows developers to develop code once and then distribute that same code on different devices - desktops, smartphone, tablets etc. This compatibility frees up developers from finding work arounds.
